ValleyCats Single Game Tickets on Sale March 31

TROY, NY - In celebration of Major League Baseball's Opening Day, single game tickets for the Tri-City ValleyCats 2014 season will go on sale Monday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at tcvalleycats.com, by phone at 518-629-CATS or at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium box office.

The ValleyCats begin their 2014 season at home on Friday, June 13 versus the Connecticut Tigers. It will be the 13th season of professional baseball at "The Joe," as the 'Cats look to defend their New York-Penn League championship title.

The 2014 home schedule features 38 unique theme nights, 14 extravagant fireworks displays, plenty of giveaways, and tons of exciting family entertainment.

Promotions making their debut in 2014 include Education Day (June 17), Glow in the Park Night (July 5), You Run the Show (August 25), Pirate Night (August 13), Reality TV Night (August 2), and Comicon with the 'Cats (June 14). New giveaways include a bobblehead of Troy native and baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Evers (July 21), a desktop replica championship ring (June 23), and a five-part ValleyCats poster series.

The ValleyCats will face the following New York-Penn League opponents at home in 2014: the Connecticut Tigers (Detroit Tigers), Lowell Spinners (Boston Red Sox), Vermont Lake Monsters (Oakland Athletics), Aberdeen Ironbirds (Baltimore Orioles), State College Spikes (St. Louis Cardinals), Staten Island Yankees (New York Yankees), Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Cleveland Indians), Batavia Muckdogs (Miami Marlins), Hudson Valley Renegades (Tampa Bay Rays), and Brooklyn Cyclones (New York Mets).
