Utah's Bennet Davis Named to NBA D-League Select Team

OREM, UT, July 1, 2010 - The NBA Development League announced today that Flash forward Bennet Davis has been named to the NBA D-League Select team, which will compete in the 2010 NBA Summer League. The team, comprised of 11 NBA D-League players, will play a five-game schedule beginning on Monday July 12, at the Cox Pavilion and Thomas and Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas.
Bennett Davis, averaged 12.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 28.2 minutes in 50 games for the Utah Flash. It was his second straight season in Utah. Prior to playing in Utah, Davis played in summer league with the New Jersey Nets, and in Mexico. Davis is a graduate of Northeastern University.
