
Utah Snowbears sweep Visalia with 94-87 win

The Utah Snowbears used dominant rebounding and six players in double figures, plus clutch free throws down the stretch by Curtis Millage to hold off the Visalia Dawgs 94-87 in Salt Lake City Saturday. Millage lead the Snowbears with 15 points, 5 coming on free throws in the final two minutes to go along with two clutch steals and three assists. Adam Parada also added 15 to go with his 12 rebounds, while Tyrone Hayes and Harold Arceneaux added 14 points each/ Clay Tucker and Alex Austin chipped in with 11 points each.
Chris Jefferies led a valiant Visalia effort by dropping in 32 points after scoring 24 Friday Night. Shannon Swillage chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Fabian Pinnock had 16 points to round out Dawgs in double figures. Gerald Perrys Dawgs fought hard while undermanned, getting as close as 81-80 in the final minutes before Utah put the game away. Utah raised its record to 2-0 while Visalia dropped to 0-2.
