
Utah Royals FC Faces Reign FC in Clash for Fourth Place

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns to Cheney Stadium to face Regin FC for sole-possession of fourth place in the league standings on Wednesday, September 18 at 8:00 p.m. MT.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC fell 2-1 on the road to the Houston Dash. MF Gunny Jónsdóttir scored the lone goal for Utah, assisted by MF Erika Tymrak.
Friday's match will mark the third and final time URFC and Reign FC have faced one another during the 2019 regular season. Thus far, Utah has split points with the opponent from Washington, with each team securing a win. Most recently URFC reigned victorious with a 3-1 conquest at Cheney Stadium on August 11 with goals scored by MF Lo'eau LaBonta, FW Amy Rodriguez and FW Katie Stengel.
URFC enters Friday's match with a 1-3-1 (4 points) all-time record against Reign FC. The two teams are currently tied with 31 points apiece and the winner of Wednesday's competition will gain ownership of the final playoff position.
