Utah Royals FC Caps 2019 Season on Saturday at Home against Houston Dash

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns home to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on the Houston Dash in the final match of its second season in the National Women's Soccer League on Saturday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. MT. The match will be broadcast live on KSL TV app and Yahoo Sports!.

In its last match, Utah Royals FC fell 2-1 to the Chicago Red Stars in a match that saw FW Christen Press record the lone goal for Utah, her seventh of the season as MF Gunny Jónsdóttir provided the assist, her fourth of the 2019 campaign.

Friday's match will mark the third time URFC and the Dash have faced one another this year. In the previous two outings, the Dash have defeated Royals FC on both occasions by a score of 2-1. Most recently, Utah was topped in Texas, ending what was a club-high five-game unbeaten streak. Jónsdóttir netted the goal for Royals FC, assisted by MF Erika Tymrak, her first of the season.

URFC enters Friday's match with a 2-2-1 (7 points) all-time record against Houston Dash and in 2019, the Dash remain the only team that Utah has failed to earn a point against.
