Utah Flash Announce Dance Tryouts

PROVO, August 23, 2009 - Auditions for the 2009-10 Utah Flash Pinnacle Dancers are scheduled for Saturday August 29 at the Pinnacle Security Gymnasium at 1290 Sandhill Road in Orem. Pre-audition dance clinics will be held on Thursday, August 27 and Friday, August 28.
The pre-audition dance clinics will be hosted by former and current Pinnacle Dancers to help hopefuls prepare for the tryout. The dance clinics are $15 for each day, and dancers who attend at least one of the clinics will have their tryout fee waved. Clinics in advance of the tryouts will be conducted at Pinnacle Gym on Thursday and Friday at 6 to 8 p.m.
Tryout registration is Saturday at 8 a.m. and auditions begin at 9. Dancers are required to be 18 years of age by September 9, be a high school graduate, as well as be energetic and motivated. A non-returnable 5x7 photograph must be brought to the audition. Judging fees for those who do not attend a pre-audition dance clinic are $20.

The Pinnacle Dancers will perform at all 24 Utah Flash NBA Development League home games, as well as special community and sponsorship appearances throughout the season.
