USO Accepting Donations at Veteran Appreciation Game

PENSACOLA, FLA. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers will partner with the USO at tomorrow night's Veteran Appreciation Night game to raise funds to pay for a Thanksgiving meal for servicemembers aboard NAS Pensacola.
The table will be located on the concourse above section 127 and will be accepting cash and check donations to help prepare a Thanksgiving meal to feed approximately 1,200 service men and women stationed at NAS Pensacola who are unable to return home for the holiday. Due to health code restrictions, the meal must be catered instead of cooked by volunteers as in the past, these donations will help purchase the food, catering, and supplies to prepare the meal. Donations can also be made by visiting www.uso.org/northwestflorida and clicking the red "Donate" button at the top of the page.
Season ticket holders that are veterans can show their verification of status as a veteran at Fan Services to receive twice as many Shirt off his Back raffle tickets when purchasing entries, not applicable with the season ticket holder vouchers. Wednesday night's Shirt off his Back is our captain, Adam Pawlick.
