
Fayetteville's Sean Bonar Named Easton Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (November 10, 2015) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced goaltender Sean Bonar of the Fayetteville FireAntz is the Easton Player of the Week for November 2-8.
Bonar went 2-0-0 with a 2.50 goals against average and a .932 save percentage in helping the FireAntz sweep a pair of home games with Huntsville and equal the team's best start to a season (4-0-0, also done in 2012-2013)
On Friday, the Delta, British Columbia native stopped 38 of 41 shots, including 20 in the third period, as Fayetteville defeated Huntsville 5-3. Bonar then made 31 saves on Saturday as the FireAntz edged the Havoc, 3-2.
Bonar currently leads the SPHL in wins (4) and save percentage (.945) and is second with a 2.00 goals against average. Bonar, who played his collegiate hockey at Princeton University, majored in Mechanical Engineering and was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team each of his four seasons.
