Indy Eleven News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven Professional Soccer announces the signing of midfielder Tyler Pasher to its 2018 roster pending league registration. Pasher has spent the last three seasons developing with United Soccer League sides Swope Park Rangers and Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
"Tyler is a dynamic left-sided player who has established himself as one of the best in his position in the USL level," Indy Eleven head coach Martin Rennie said. "He will bring great athleticism and quality to our team."
"I am extremely excited to be joining Indy Eleven for this upcoming season," stated 23-year-old Pasher. "I'm really looking forward to preseason, getting started with the team and hearing the cheers of the best supporter group-the Brickyard Battalion."
Hailing from Elmira, Ontario, Pasher's performance in the midfield helped lead Swope Park Rangers to a top four finish in the USL's Western Conference last season. In 2017, the Canadian International started 25 of 32 regular season matches. Over the course of the season, Pasher gathered 39 clearances and 41 interceptions in all appearances. Additionally, Pasher completed nearly 80-percent of both tackles and passes. Pasher signed his first Major League Soccer contact with Sporting Kansas City in 2017 and made his first MLS appearance on May 20, 2017 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Per club policy, terms of player contracts with Indy Eleven will not be released.
