USL Discipline Report: Week 8
May 20, 2016 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) News Release
TAMPA, Fla. - The following is the USL's discipline report for Week 8 of the 2016 season:
Two players were suspended and fined an undisclosed amount for their actions this past week. Real Monarchs SLC teammates Danny Acosta and Kevaughn Frater each were issued multiple yellow cards and sent off during the Monarchs' 1-1 road draw against Rio Grande Valley FC last Friday. They will serve one-game suspensions on Saturday against Orange County Blues FC.
Three players have been issued four yellow cards this season and are one away from being fined and suspended for accumulation: the Harrisburg City Islanders' Jose Barril and Orange County Blues FC teammates Ivan Mirkovic and Pavle Popara.
