USHL Announces Fall Classic Schedule

The United States Hockey League and the Pittsburgh Penguins announced the schedule for the DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic, featuring the best young hockey players in the United States.
The Des Moines Buccaneers will open the 2023-24 Regular Season with a pair of games at the USHL Fall Classic, taking on the Madison Capitols on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. CT, and facing off against the Fargo Force on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m. CT.
The Fall Classic returns to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township, Pa., for the eighth consecutive season. The Fall Classic takes place September 20-25 and is expected to draw more than 400 scouts from the National Hockey League and college and junior teams to the region. All 16 USHL teams will play two regular season games apiece during the five-day event.

This event provides the chance to see some of the best young hockey players in the world showcase their talent in front of hundreds of scouts and fans. It also generates a significant economic impact on Butler County and our region. We appreciate all that the USHL and its member clubs continue to do to support the growth of our game!"

In addition to the college and professional exposure, these youth players will have an opportunity to witness a level of play that these Tier I players all aspire to, and our coaches and GMs look forward to seeing some of the best Tier I youth talent in the country." The Buccaneers home opener at Buccaneer Arena will be Saturday, Sept. 30 at 6:00 p.m. CT against the Sioux Falls Stampede. Single-game tickets are not yet on sale.
