
Updated COVID-19 Policy and Capacity Announced

Kingston Frontenacs News Release
Kingston, Ontario - In preparation for the Kingston Frontenacs next home game on January 1st, 2022 at 4:00pm, the hockey club and Leon's Centre have updated the venues COVID-19 policy.
The Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club will be following the new restrictions that were announced by the Province of Ontario.
Beginning on Saturday, January 1, the capacity at Leon's Centre will be restricted to fifty percent (50%) for all upcoming Kingston Frontenacs home games for the foreseeable future.
The Kingston Frontenacs and Leon's Centre staff will continue to reinforce our COVID-19 Policy, with our main focus being to maintain the health and safety of our players, staff and fans attending the arena.
Updated 2021-22 COVID-19 Policy
Vaccination policy:
Everyone in the facility (Leon's Centre) during the 2021-22 season must be fully vaccinated (2 doses), children under the age of 12 will be required to wear a mask at all times and they need to be with a parent that is fully vaccinated.
Please enter at the gate indicated on your ticket.
Please adhere to all social distancing signage while waiting in lines at the arena.
Doors will open 1 hour prior to puck drop.
Upon arrival, guests will be asked for:
Proof of double vaccination & photo ID
Screening questions
Ticket for scanning
If guests are showing signs and symptoms:
If a patron is showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that they stay home for the health and safety of all guests, players and staff at the event.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include: sore throat, difficulty swallowing, runny or stuffy nose, abdominal pain, headache, conjunctivitis and decreased or lack of appetite.
While in the Arena:
Masks must be worn at all times and patrons can only remove a mask for eating and drinking purposes, while sitting in their assigned seats. If patrons don't have food or a beverage in their hand while sitting in their seat, a mask must be worn.
Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the arena.
Washrooms - please respect others by maintaining a social distance of 6 feet. Please wash your hands thoroughly before returning to your seat.
Food and Beverage:
In response to the recent Ontario's pandemic restrictions at sporting events, all concessions within the Leon's Centre will be closed until further notice. These additional protection measures are being introduced to further reduce mobility and social contacts. These new regulations also include outside food and drink will not be allowed in the building, as well as refillable water bottles. Additionally, suite holders will not have access to their fridges during this time.
We would like to remind fans of the venue policy that mask wearing is a mandatory requirement at all times within the facility.
Post Game:
At the end of the third period, all fans are asked to vacate the arena in a timely fashion once the 3 Stars of the Game have been announced. Due to Covid-19 protocols our players will not be able to interact with fans until further notice.
