Update on Jace Peterson

Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release


In Thursday night's game at Parkview Field, Jace Peterson was injured in a first-inning collision with pitcher Colin Rea. Peterson was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center for evaluation. He was diagnosed with a neck injury and discharged on Thursday night. He is currently on the TinCaps disabled list.

The following is a statement from Peterson on his injury:

"I'm feeling good. It was unfortunate that it happened. I'm thankful that it's nothing more serious than it is. I'm going to use this time to get fully healed and hopefully I can come back soon."
