
Tyler Ybarra Placed on DL

Lansing Lugnuts News Release
LANSING, Mich. -- The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced Friday that pitcher Tyler Ybarra has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List retroactive to May 10th with pitcher Eric Brown transferred to the Lugnuts from Extended Spring Training in a corresponding move.
The 2011 Bluefield Blue Jays Pitcher of the year, Ybarra was 0-2 with a save and a 3.38 ERA in 10 relief appearances for Lansing. This is the 22-year-old Kansan's first season in the Midwest League.
Brown, 23, was drafted in 2011 out of the University of British Columbia in the 50th round. He pitched in 18 games spanning 27 1/3 innings for Vancouver before appearing in two games for the Lugnuts at the end of last season. In all, the Thunder Bay, ON, native compiled an 0-1 record with a 3.45 ERA in his debut campaign.
The Lugnuts' roster currently comprises 25 active members and four players on the Disabled List.
