LOVES PARK IL, - The Rockford Aviators welcome the Windy City Thunderbolts and the Normal Cornbelters to Aviators Stadium this week for a six game home stand. The first series is against the Thunderbolts and starts on July 28th at 6:35pm. The second series begins July 31st at 7:05pm versus the Cornbelters.
Tuesday, July 28th @ 6:35 p.m. - Local Healthcare Employee Appreciation Night
The first game of the series kicks off tomorrow night at 6:35pm and gates open at 5:35pm. Representatives from OSF, Rockford Orthopedic and many more will be in attendance. Health care professionals and their families will have the option to purchase $4 tickets and will be acknowledged in the middle of the 5th inning. Come out to Aviators Stadium and show your support for Rockford's healthcare professionals.
Wednesday, July 29th @ 6:35 p.m. - Belvidere & 4H Night
Join Mayor Mike Chamberlain and the rest of Belvidere for a night at Aviators Stadium. Mayor Chamberlain will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Joining Mayor Chamberlin will be the 4H groups from the surrounding areas.
Thursday, July 30th @ 6:35 p.m. - Dollar Beers
The Aviators will conclude their 3 game series against Windy City Thursday. Celebrate at Aviators Stadium with $1 10 oz. Bud Light and Budweiser beer and $2 16 oz. Bud Light and Budweiser aluminums, courtesy of Bud Light and LaMonica Beverages. Enjoy Thirsty Thursday the right way with us at Aviators Stadium.
Friday, July 31st @ 7:05 p.m. - AABC Willie Mays 10U World Series Opening Ceremony & Schnucks Canned Food Drive
We launch into our 3 game series vs. the Normal Cornbelters with a special 10U World Series opening ceremony. Gates will open early at 5 pm, so all the fans can enjoy the ceremony. Each team will be announced and welcomed onto the field before the first pitch. This is the opening ceremony for the American Amateur Baseball Congress, a16-team, ages 10 and under, World Series tournament. Schnucks will also be hosting a can food drive for this series opener. Fans may donate a non-perishable food item at the front game to receive $2 off a regularly priced ticket.
Saturday August 1st @ 7:05 p.m. - Jersey Auction
The Aviators will host their third jersey auction of 2015 during their Saturday contest with Normal. Fans will be able to bid, in increments of $5, for a jersey that a player is wearing that night. After the game goes final, we will invite the winning fans onto the field to meet the player and get the jersey signed.
Sunday August 2nd @ 3:05 p.m. - Family Day
The Aviators conclude their home stand vs. Normal Sunday at 3:05pm. Fans can play catch in right field from 2-2:30pm! We recommend all fans interested in playing catch on the field be at the gate when it opens at 2pm. After the game all kids will be invited down to the field to run the bases! Come circle the paths like an Aviator!
