Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., Aug. 21, 2008) - Ducks fans, August 26, 27 and 28, and September 9, 10 and 11 have been announced as "Unused Ticket Days" at Citibank Park. If you couldn't make it out to the ballgame this season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the Ducks are extending the opportunity to exchange those tickets for ones of equal or lesser value at the Citibank Park Box Office, subject to availability.
"We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to come out and enjoy Ducks baseball this season," says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. "We're happy to extend this opportunity and hope to see the fans take advantage of the unused ticket dates to come to the ballpark, support the team and take part in a thrilling pennant race."
Ticket holders interested in exchanging their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Citibank Park Box Office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on August 26, 27 or 28 (Tuesday - Thursday) against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, or September 9, 10 or 11 (Tuesday - Thursday) against the Somerset Patriots. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets. Team posters, back to school notebooks and white baseball caps are just a few of the exciting and fun giveaways and promotions scheduled for these unused ticket dates. Don't let your unused tickets go to waste. Head down to the ballpark to take in a Ducks game as the team makes a playoff push in the final weeks of the regular season.
The exchanging of tickets must be done at the Citibank Park Box Office, and cannot be done over the phone or via the Internet. For more information, please contact the ticket office at (631) 940-TIXX.
The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Citibank Park and are entering their eighth season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. For further information, visit www.liducks.com, or call (631) 940-3825.
