Universal Sports Network to Air Pair of Knighthawks Games

Universal Sports will showcase the three-time defending NLL Champion Rochester Knighthawks twice this season. The "Game of the Week" broadcasts are part of the National Lacrosse League's deal with the Universal Sports Network.

The new agreement, which marks the league's first full season on Universal Sports Network, makes 18 league games available LIVE on UniversalSports.com to all fans in the United States, including non-subscribers of Universal Sports Network. An encore presentation of the "NLL Game of the Week" will also air every Thursday on TV.

"Universal Sports Network is a great broadcast partner to showcase NLL action each week," said NLL Commissioner George Daniel. "We are truly excited to continue our relationship with USN for another season."

The Knighthawks will make their "Game of the Week" debut on Saturday, January 10 th, as they take on the New England Black Wolves. The road contest will air live on UniversalSports.com. The replay of the game will be broadcast on Thursday, January 15 th at 4:00 p.m. on Universal Sports.

The Rochester Knighthawks at Minnesota Swarm game on Friday, February 6 th will also air live on UniversalSports.com at 8:30 p.m. The television replay of the game is Thursday, February 12 th at 9:00 a.m. on Universal Sports.

Universal Sports is available in Rochester on Time Warner Cable channel 407 to Sports Pass subscribers, on DIRECTV channel 625 and on the DISH Network channel 402.
