
Unity of Nations basketball game a success

Rio Grande Valley, TX. Despite a persistent early morning drizzle, the Unity of Nations Game that took place on Tuesday with the full participation of the RGV Silverados and the Corrrecaminos of the UAT. Mayor Richard Cortez of Mcallen TX was on hand to celebrate the event and to reiterate the central theme of the game, which is Unity and cooperation amongst the US and Mexico. The game ended in a 4-4 tie and provided loads of fun for the 150 fans who were brave enough to battle the weather - and watch a basketball game actually played in two countries on one court. It was a successful even and the organizers would like to thank the fans for their support as well as:
