CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union II took on Orlando City B at Subaru Park on Monday night, winning 1-0. With the victory, Union II are now in second place in the Eastern Conference with 15 points. The first half of play was controlled by Union II, outshooting Orlando 11 to two. Union II then broke through for a goal in the 51st minute on a Paxten Aaronson strike from very close range to the bottom right corner. Goalkeeper Matt Freese recorded two crucial saves to record his second MLS NEXT Pro clean sheet and secure all three points.
Union II are back on the road at Monroe Community College where they will play Rochester New York FC on Saturday, May 21st (6:00 p.m. ET / MLSNEXTPro.com).
