
Under 1,000 Tickets Remain for Earthquakes-Galaxy Match on Saturday, June 30

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Under 1,000 tickets remain for the San Jose Earthquakes' match against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, June 30 at Stanford Stadium. The game has surpassed the largest non-doubleheader crowd in team history, which was set last year on July 2 at Stanford Stadium with 41,028. The capacity of Stanford Stadium is 50,000.
Fans can secure the remaining tickets through two options, the Red, White and Blue mini plan and a special two-pack. The Red, White and Blue mini-plan includes tickets to four games and a commemorative Independence Day Earthquakes scarf. The two-pack includes a ticket to the Earthquakes-Galaxy match and a ticket to A&W Root Beer Float night on Saturday, July 14 when the Quakes face Real Salt Lake at Buck Shaw Stadium. The current single-game attendance record of 41,028 was set San Jose hosted the New York Red Bulls in a 2-2 draw at Stanford Stadium.
San Jose is looking to win its second straight against the defending MLS Cup champions. The first round of the California Clasico on May 23 at The Home Depot Center ended in dramatic fashion with Alan Gordon scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time to cap a 3-2 comeback Earthquakes win.
