UHL teams preparing for season with exhibition games
September 29, 2006 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2) News Release
LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO --- United Hockey League (UHL) teams will take the ice for preseason exhibition games in preparation for the 2006-07 regular season. A total of ten (10) contests are scheduled between UHL clubs.

Friday, October 6th - Quad City Mallards @ Rockford IceHogs, 7:30 PM - Rockford MetroCentre
Friday, October 6th - Kalamazoo Wings @ Fort Wayne Komets, 8:00 PM - Allen County War Memorial Coliseum
Friday, October 6th - Port Huron Flags @ Flint Generals, 7:30 PM - Perani Arena
Saturday, October 7th - Chicago Hounds @ Quad City Mallards, 7:00 PM - Quad City Sports Center (Davenport, Iowa)
Saturday, October 7th - Fort Wayne Komets @ Kalamazoo Wings, 7:30 PM - Wings Stadium
Saturday, October 7th - Bloomington PrairieThunder @ Muskegon Fury, 7:30 PM - L.C. Walker Arena

In addition, the Elmira Jackals will have an intra-squad Blue/White scrimmage at First Arena on Saturday, October 7th at 7:35 PM.
Training camps for UHL teams open next week. The 16th UHL season begins on Friday, October 13th.
