Tyler Bey and Nate Hinton Transferred to Long Island Nets

LONG ISLAND - Dallas Mavericks two-way forward Tyler Bey and two-way guard/forward Nate Hinton have been transferred to the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's NBA G League affiliate, pursuant to the NBA's two-way rules.
Bey was selected by Philadelphia with the 36th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and acquired by Dallas on draft night. The rookie has appeared in four games for the Mavericks this season, averaging 1.5 points in 3.1 minutes per contest.
Hinton, also in his first NBA season with the Mavericks, has appeared in six contests for Dallas this season and recorded averages of 1.3 points in 3.1 minutes per game.
Both will join Long Island at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Fla., where the team will be playing its 2021 season. The Mavericks' NBA G League affiliate, the Texas Legends, opted not to travel to the NBA G League's campus. NBA teams without an NBA G League affiliate participating in Orlando have the opportunity to assign roster players and transfer two-way players using the league's flexible assignment and two-way rules.
