Wenatchee Wild News Release
WENATCHEE, Wash. - The NHL Central Scouting Service has released its list of players to watch across North America and two Wenatchee Wild players have made the list.
Included on the list of North American Hockey League players to watch ahead of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft are Parker Tuomie and Chase Perry.
Tuomie is a 5'9", 170lb. right wing from Biemerhaven, Germany. "Parker has a good skill set to go with an outstanding attitude" said Wenatchee Wild Head Coach Bliss Littler. ""We look for Parker to lead by example." Tuomie tallied 2 goals and an assist in last week's NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota, in which the Wild went 2-1.
Also named on the Central Scouting list is Wild goaltender Chase Perry. Perry, 6'2", 191lbs., went 2-0 at the showcase, with a 0.96 goals against average and a .965 save percentage. "Chase has all the tools to be a big timer" said Littler. "It will be fun to watch him develop. (Assistant Coach) Chris Clarke is doing a good job with Chase."
