
Two Texas A&M Players Joining the Woodchucks

Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced the signing of two players from Texas A&M to the 2018 roster. Zach DeLoach and Mason Cole will be headed to Wausau this summer.
DeLoach, a 6'2" freshman, will bring his athleticism to the 'Chucks. DeLoach was a four-year letter winner in high school, hitting .381 with a .571 on-base percentage and .619 slugging percentage during his 2017 season. He also posted a 5-3 record on the mound with a 2.02 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 58.2 innings pitched. He was selected as a Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 6A All-State Honorable Mention as an outfielder and was also named District 6-6A District Pitcher of the Year in 2017. DeLoach played summer ball for the Dallas Tigers. He is originally from Hebron, TX.
Cole, a 6'6" redshirt freshman, will join the Woodchucks pitching staff. Cole pitched two games in his first year at Texas A&M and posted a 1-0 record and a 0.00 ERA with two strikeouts in three innings pitched. In high school, he had a 7-3 record with a 2.60 ERA and 73 strikeouts during his final season. He was named to the All-District 13-6A Second Team and the Perfect Game All-Texas Region First Team as a senior. Cole is originally from Round Rock, TX.
