
Two SeaWolves Players Added to Hot Stove Banquet

The Erie SeaWolves Hot Stove Banquet, which will be held on Saturday, February 7th, will now include SeaWolves players Matt Walker and Don Kelly. Both players spent time with the SeaWolves last year, and are expected to play at the Uht in 2004. They will be on hand to meet and greet fans and to sign autographs.
Both Matt and Don are Pennsylvania residents.
In 2003, Don Kelly played in 22 games for the SeaWolves, batting .265 with 1 homerun and 13 runs batted in. He also notched 22 hits, scored 14 runs and had an on-base percentage of .378. Don was recently added to the Detroit Tigers 40-man roster of top players and prospects.
Last season Matt Walker hit 9 homeruns, knocked in 44 runs, and hit .268 in 87 games for Erie with a slugging percentage of .423.
The Hot Stove Banquet will be held at the Avalon Hotel Niagara Room on February 7th at 6 P.M. Among the guests will be newly appointed manager Rick Sweet, hitting coach Pete Incaviglia, Detroit Tigers Assistant Director of Player Development Ricky Bennett, and Mandalay Baseball Properties CEO Hank Stickney. Tickets are only $20 and must be purchased in advance.
