New York Liberty News Release
The Liberty received a nice Valentine's Day gift today. This afternoon the Liberty added two players to its roster with the signing of Ashley Battle and Iciss Tillis.
Women's basketball fans - especially those on the east coast - should be very familiar with both athletes. Battle was an integral part of three National Championship teams at UConn, having just recently graduated in 2005. A 2004 Blue Devil alum, Tillis guided her Duke team to two Final Four appearances.
For complete details on both players, go to nyliberty.com. While you're there, make sure to check out 2006 ticket plan packages, so you can watch the newest Liberty players in action at The Garden this summer!
