Twelve Kansas City Wizards On 2007 MLS All-Star Ballot

Major League Soccer's All-Star balloting began today. Twelve Kansas City Wizards players are eligible for election. The 2007 MLS All-Star Game will be held July 19 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado against perennial Scottish powerhouse Celtic FC.

The All-Star game will be played in a 3-5-2 formation. Fans can vote for a goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards. Each MLS team was able to submit up to 12 players for the All-Star ballot.

The All-Star Game coach will be the coach of the team with the most points per game on June 25.

A maximum of 10 ballots may be submitted per person per day. E-mail addresses must be valid. Ballots generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified.

Voting ends on Monday, June 25, 2007.
