Toronto FC vs. Houston Dynamo: Match Preview
Published on May 16, 2007 under Major League Soccer (MLS)
Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC (1-4-0) will meet the defending MLS Champion Houston Dynamo (2-2-1) tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm ET at BMO Field. Last Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Chicago Fire was an emotional win, and with only four days rest, the boys in red will need to carry that momentum into their game against Houston.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Houston Dynamo currently sit tied for third place in the Western Conference with seven points after five games. The Houston attack is led by Brian Ching (#25) and Dwayne De Rosario (#14), who have both found the back of the net twice this season. Houston and Toronto completed a trade earlier in the year, sending last match's game-winning-goal scorer Kevin Goldthwaite to Toronto in exchange for Richard Mulrooney.
// IN OTHER NEWS
This month's Toronto Life magazine features the specialty cuisine of BMO Field. If you haven't tried it yet, we highly recommend picking up a scotch egg, chip butty, aranci, cornbread sandwich or chicken roti and if you're really adventurous why not try all five!
