
Tuesday is Tip a Wheat King Night

Brandon, MB. - The Wheat Kings Movember fund raising campaign heats up this week as Applebees will host the 2015 Tip a Wheat King Night.
The event, which is held annually in support of men's health, is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 - 8:30pm.
During the first shift, five Wheat King veterans, including Tyler Coulter will be working the dining room. The 19-year old local product will be joined by Kale Clague, Mark Taraschuk, rookie goalkeeper Logan Thompson and the 2015 Western Hockey League Rookie of the Year Nolan Patrick.
Assisting Applebees staff during the second shift will be Captain Macoy Erkamps, Colton Waltz, Tanner Kaspick, Jayce Hawryluk and Jordan Papirny.
In addition to having the opportunity to meet and mingle with members of the Western Hockey League club, fans attending this year's event will have a chance to win some terrific prizes, including Wheat Kings merchandise and enjoy Applebee's 'All U can eat Ribs' from 5pm to close.
The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men's health movement, raising $677 million and funding over 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
This marks the fourth straight season that the Wheat Kings have participated in the monthly campaign.

On the ice, the Wheat Kings kick off a 2-game Alberta weekend road trip Friday night in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes.
