North Bay Battalion News Release

BRAMPTON, Ont. - The start time for the Brampton Battalion's home game Feb. 18 against the Guelph Storm has been changed to 6 p.m., the Ontario Hockey League club announced Wednesday.

The game, originally scheduled at 2 p.m., is to be televised nationally by Rogers Sportsnet on a tape-delayed basis starting at 7 p.m. EDT.

The game is the first of the season between the Battalion and Storm, who will conclude their two-game season series at Guelph on Feb. 23.

The Battalion is working with the Brampton Youth Hockey Association to identify teams interested in executing team fundraisers centred on the rescheduled game. The club also is finalizing arrangements with Mayor Susan Fennell's community spirit team for a promotional campaign for the game.

The Troops' last appearance on Rogers Sportsnet was a 3-2 shootout victory over the visiting Peterborough Petes on Jan. 29, 2006.
