Published on March 15, 2006 under Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
North Bay Battalion News Release
The Battalion heads into the final four days of the OHL's regular-season schedule with a club-record 11-game winning streak and looks to extend that mark Thursday at 7:30 when the Kingston Frontenacs will be the visitors for Tim Hortons Night at the Bunker.
The Troops have a one-point lead over the Barrie Colts atop the Central Division and both teams have three games remaining. The Battalion will visit Mississauga on Friday before returning home for Fan Appreciation Day at the Bunker on Sunday at 2:00 to face the Belleville Bulls.
Barrie hosts Peterborough on Thursday and completes the regular-season schedule with a home-and-home series against the Toronto St. Michael's Majors on Saturday and Sunday.
Check out www.battalionhockey.com for an interview with overage forward Nolan Waker, who returns to the lineup Thursday after a lengthy abscence while recovering from shoulder surgery.
