Before you go out trick-or-treating, be sure to stop by the Rox office on the third-base side of Campanelli Stadium between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. this Monday. Wear your costume...we'll be giving out treats to everyone who stops by, and you'll get a chance to meet and have your picture taken with K-O!

THREE ROX PLAYERS EARN POST-SEASON HONORS

Rox outfielder Chris Valencia was selected to Baseball America's All-Independent post-season team, one of two players from the Can-Am League named to the list.

In 2011, Valencia led the Rox with a .342 batting average, 132 hits, 30 doubles, 8 triples, 41 stolen bases and 76 runs scored.

Valencia is the franchise leader with 78 stolen bases and 16 triples, is fourth all-time with 77 doubles, and fifth with 197 runs scored. His contract was purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks organization in September.

Rox righthanded hurlers Zach Woods and Jimmer Kennedy were also named to Baseball America's Top 10 Independent Prospects, at #9 and #10, respectively. Woods went 2-2 with a 1.95 average in 37 innings of work in 2011, striking out 38 while walking just 10. Kennedy made 30 appearances out of the bullpen, putting together a 3.70 ERA and registering two saves.
