Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The longest road trip of the season for the Tri-City Dust Devils (4-4, 22-24) ended on Tuesday night with 4-1 win over the Boise Hawks (2-6, 23-23). Tri-City's pitching staff limited the Hawks to just two hits in the game.
The Dust Devils never trailed in the series finale. Tri-City took an early lead in the top of the first inning after Owen Miller scored on Dwanya Williams-Sutton's two-out single. Williams-Sutton was one of four Dust Devils, along with Justin Paulsen, Olivier Basabe and Grant Little to produce two hits. Sam Keating earned the win after only allowing one run in 5.1 innings of work and Jordan Guerrero picked up his team-high fifth save of the season after keeping Boise scoreless in the ninth inning.
Tri-City will return home tonight to begin a five-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. It will be Hero Night presented by Pita Pit. Left-hander Omar Cruz will start the series opener for the team. Great seats are available by calling the Dust Devils' front office at (509) 544-8789 or by going to www.dustdevilsbaseball.com to purchase tickets.
