
Trevino Goes Deep Twice in Return from DL, Riders Fall 5-4

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - In his first game back from the disabled list, catcher Jose Trevino went 2-for-2 with two home runs and three RBIs but the Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, fell 5-4 to the San Antonio Missions Friday at Wolff Stadium.
BIG MOMENTS
* Trevino put the Riders ahead with a two-run shot in the first inning and tied the game with a solo blast in the fourth. The long balls were the first two of his season. It also marked his third-career multi-homer game and first since 2015.
* San Antonio broke a 4-4 tie with an RBI groundout from Auston Bousfield in the sixth that put the Missions ahead for good.
* Correlle Prime had the other RBI Friday for the Riders, giving Frisco a 3-2 lead with an RBI double in the third.

NEWS AND NOTES
* Trevino is the second Riders hitter to hit two homers in a game this week. Hunter Cole also did it Tuesday.
* Riders relievers had their scoreless streak end at 29 1/3 innings Friday.
* The Riders turned four double plays Friday, tied for the most this season and the franchise single-game high.
