The Macon Trax keep rolling along, heading into the Atlantic Coast Hockey League playoffs, with their franchise record tying fourth straight win, a convincing 6-1 triumph over the Cape Fear Fire Antz Saturday night at the Centreplex. The Trax are now 12-3 in their last 15 games and 14-4 in their last 18. The victory also clinched third place for Macon.

As has been the case for most of the second half of the season, the Trax spread the scoring around with six different players getting goals. The Trax had goals from Stephane Desjardins, Edan Welch, Brad Rice, Corey Luca, Rick Emmett, and Landon Bathe. Cape Fear's lone goal came from Marc Genest.

The Trax conclude their regular season home schedule Saturday against the Orlando Seals at 7:30 p.m. That will be city of Perry night. The regular season wraps up Sunday when the Trax visit Orlando at 2 p.m. That game can be heard on the internet at www.macontrax.com or www.IRN.FM .

The Trax hold their hour long Hockey Happy Hour at Locos Deli & Pub every Monday at 6 p.m., which can also be heard on the internet link. Season tickets for 2003-04 are now on sale.
