
Trax Have Pair Of Road Games

Road Trip Carries On: The Macon Trax have games eight and nine of their 10 game road swing with two more games this weekend. The Trax play at Cape Fear on Friday against the Fire Antz and travel to Jacksonville to face the Barracudas on Saturday. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. eastern time. All Trax road games are broadcast via the internet and can be accessed through www.IRN.FM or the Trax website at www.macontrax.com.
Rolling Along: The Trax continued their recent hot streak. Picking up two more wins in three games last week. Macon defeated Knoxville 3-0 on Thursday night, downed Jacksonville, 7-3 on Friday night, and then lost 3-2 in a shootout to Winston-Salem on Saturday night.
Road Whitewash: Friday's shutout at Knoxville was the first road shutout in Trax history. It was goaltender Geoff Faulkner's third shutout of the season, and the second time the Trax have blanked Knoxville this season.
Lucky Seven: The seven goals against Jacksonville establish a new club record for most goals in a game. On six other occasions this season the Trax had scored six goals in a game.
Pulling Away: Tom Stewart has widened his lead in the league scoring race. Stewart had three goals and four assists in the three games. That raises his totals to 37 goals and 51 assists for 88 points. Stewart tops the ACHL in points and goals. He has a 14 point lead over Louis Goulet of Orlando for the league scoring title. He leads Kevin Swider of Knoxville by one in the goal scoring race.
Kollar The Goaler: The Trax have acquired goaltender Andrew Kollar from the Winston-Salem Parrots. To make room for Kollar, the Trax waived goaltender Andrew Zoppo.
Looking Ahead: The Trax have announced their season ticket prices for next season will remain the same as this year. Ticket orders are now being taken with fans ordering by March 15th receiving a 20% discount on their ticket order.
