
Hellegards Loaned to Cincinnati

Jacksonville, Fl- Peter Young, director of Hockey Operations for the Jacksonville Barracudas, announced today that defenceman Justin Hellegards has been loaned to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League for tonight's game in Greensboro. Hellegards will return to the Barracudas in time for practice on Wednesday.
"This is one of the benefits of playing for a coach like Ron Duguay," said Young. "In fact, this would not have happened were it not for Ron. We consider the ACHL to be a developmental league and we are committed to helping our players get to the next level. Ron not only encouraged Justin, he made this happen."
The 22-year old Hellegards has appeared in all 54 games for the Cudas this season. He has 14 points on 1 goal and 13 assists, and is an impressive plus 1 on a team that has allowed the most goals in the ACHL.
Chris Rapson, assistant General Manager for the Barracudas disclosed that fans purchased 80 season tickets during the teams "soft launch" at last weekends games. Until April 1, 2003 current season ticket holder have the right to confirm a guaranteed seat in a section at the new Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena for next season. Current season ticket holders also have first right of refusal on preferred parking for next season. All other fans can request a location that will be confirmed after April 1. All seats from row 9 and up in the new arena can be purchased for as low at $11.00 per game in a season's ticket package. Seating charts will be distributed to fans at this weekend's games.
The first 500 youngsters at Friday night's game will receive a "special addition" Barracudas souvenir puck.
