Trax change opponents this weekend

[Macon, Ga.]—The Macon Trax have announced minor changes for their schedule this weekend. The dates of the games will remain the same, but the opponents have changed.

The Trax will still host games Thurs. Mar. 11, Fri. Mar. 12 and Sun. Mar. 14. The Thurs. and Fri. games will be against the Jacksonville Barracudas with puck drop at 7:35 pm.

Thursday will be "Family Thirsty Thursday", "City Employees" and "Guns ‘N' Hoses Night." All fountain beverages and draft beer will be 2-for-1. Also, any city employee throughout the Heart of Georgia will receive $5 tickets.

In addition the Macon Trax are proud to honor all firefighters and police officers in the state of Georgia. These brave heroes will receive $3 off their ticket price for the Thursday night game against the first place Barracudas. During the intermissions the Trax will have special games pitting "Fire versus Police!"

Sunday the Trax will get to see their bitter rivals from the North. The Alabama Slammers have been named the Trax opponent in the 4:05 pm game. Another special group will be honored as the Trax celebrate "Medical Professional Day." Anyone that works in the medical field will receive $3 off their ticket price for the Sunday matinee.

Also, Sunday is the final "Blowout Sunday" of the season. Anyone who sits in the upper level will be offered tickets for only $5. This is a great way for families to enjoy their Sunday afternoon at an affordable price.
