Training Camp Set for Next Week

Owen Sound Attack News Release


New Head Coach Ryan McGill and Assistant Derek King will kick off their tenure with the Attack next Monday, August 31st when Rookie Camp begins at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. 2015 1st Round picks Markus Phillips and Nick Suzuki will take the ice, along with a slew of other young hopefuls.

Following Rookie Camp on Monday and Tuesday, returning players and those moving on from Rookie Camp will report on Wednesday for on-ice practices and fitness testing. 2015 Training Camp Teams will once again be named after Kirk Maltby and the late Dan Snyder. Full rosters will be released at a later date and all ice times take place at the Bayshore and is open to the general public.

The full camp schedule, along with exhibition dates are listed below.

ROOKIE CAMP

MONDAY AUGUST 31st

9:00am-9:50 am Team 1 Practice

10:15am-11:30am Team 1 vs. Team 2 scrimmage

3:00pm-4:30pm Team 2 vs. Team 1 scrimmage

TUESDAY SEPT 1st

9:00am-9:50am Team 2 practice

10:15am-11:30am Team 2 vs. Team 1 Scrimmage

3:00-4:30pm Team 1 vs. Team 2 Scrimmage
