WINNIPEG, MB â The following is a list of happenings from Day 16 of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' 2005 training camp:
STARS OF THE DAY: DE Gavin Walls, LB Scott Mennie, S Wes Lysack.
NEW ARRIVALS: None.
DEPARTURES: None.
INJURIES: None to report.
TEAM NEWS: The team participated in its first full practice since last Friday's 20-20 tie with the Edmonton Eskimos.
Despite a somewhat slow start, it was an up-temp workout. The Bombers O-line looked particularly strong and QB Tee Martin put in a full workout after nursing a sore knee late last week.
The team will return to the field tomorrow between 10:30 a.m. and 12:35 p.m.in preparation for Thursday's 7:30 p.m. game at Canad Inns Stadium with the Edmonton Eskimos.
