
Trade Sends Ritz To San Francisco

Philadelphia, PA (July 12, 2006) - The Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that attackman Xander Ritz has been traded to the San Francisco for a 3rd Round Collegiate Draft pick in 2007.
Ritz, who is a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, was selected in the 3rd round (27th overall) in this year's Collegiate Draft by Philadelphia. Ritz was the 2006 Captain at Maryland; he was named to the All Atlantic Coast Conference Team and an All-American Candidate. Ritz had 29 goals and 10 assists in the 2006 regular season and recorded 5 goals and 1 assist in the post-season for the Terps. Ritz is a local product from Wayne, Pennsylvania and graduated from Radnor High School.
Philadelphia returns home to Villanova on July 20 for a rematch game with the Long Island Lizards.
