From Eric Young Jr's lead off double to start the game right through a solo home run in each of the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings, the Tourists dominated their hosts, taking the game by a score of 6-3.

In front of a record home Greenville crowd of 6,822, the Tourists jumped right on top of starting pitcher Michael Rozier (4-3), batting round the order for three runs on three hits in the top of the first to take an early lead from which the Drive would not be able to recover. Eric Young, Jr. led off the inning with a double and after Cole Garner walked Asheville executed a double steal. Travis Becktel walked to the open first base to to set the stage for Daniel Carte, who smacked a one-out, bases loaded doubled to left. Phillip Cuadrado followed with a single to left, plating Travis Becktel.

The home team got themselves onto the board, working one run around on two hits to make the score 3-1, and that's the way it stayed until the sixth inning, when the long ball game came into play.

First of all, in the top of the sixth, Daniel Carte hit his fifth homer of the season, a solo blast over left field to give the Tourists back their three run lead. the Drive answered straight back in their half of the sixth with a run of their own, taking advantage of a of wild pitch by Asheville starte Xavier Cedeno and a passed ball credited to catcher Nelson Robledo to score a single run, making the score 4-2 through six innings.

In the top of the seventh it was the turn of Cole Garner to slam a one-out solo shot, this time straight down the middle, to make the score 5-2. David Patton came out on the mound to start the seventh for the Tourists, and in his first at bat Mitch Stachowsky slammed the ball over left field for yet another solo home run, making the game 5-3.

Christopher Cook completed the scoring in the top of the eighth inning, a two-out solo homer into left field, his third of the season, restoring the three run lead, enough to win the game.

Cedeno (4, 4) takes the win on the mound, with Patton earning his eighth hold of the season, and Andrew Johnston bagging his fourth save, after taking care of the final inning in ruthless "three up three down" fashion, much to the disappointment of the home town crowd.

Hitting Hero for the Tourists tonight is Daniel Carte, who hit a double and a HR in four at bats, scoring three RBI's in the process
