Reggie Fitzpatrick returns to Gnats

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Outfielder Reggie Fitzpatrick rejoins the Sand Gnats today after splitting time this season between New Orleans (Triple-A) and Potomac (Single-A) earlier this season. The 23-year-old Atlanta native has hit .237 with 10 home runs and 88 RBI in 293 games over the last three seasons with Savannah.

Fitzpatrick comes from Potomac where he hit .229 with nine stolen bases in 33 games. Prior to joining Potomac's team, he hit .200 with New Orleans in 12 April games. Fitzpatrick was the Montreal Expos fifth round draft pick in 2001 out of McNair High School in Atlanta. He is a lifetime .238 hitter in 448 Minor League games. This is his sixth Minor League season.
