
Torrington Titans Take out Wachusett Dirt Dawgs with Help from Kochiss, 9-4

The Torrington Titans (1-1) beat the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (0-2) 9-4 on Thursday at Doyle Field behind Mike Kochiss, who went 3-3 at the plate.
He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
Kenny McLean pitched lights out for the Torrington Titans. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs managed just one hit off of McLean, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his three innings of work.
Angelo Navetta racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the second inning.
Adam Donovan improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered three hits.
Joe Thomas couldn't get it done on the bump for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
