Anthony Capuano went 2-3 as the Torrington Titans (23-18) took home a 6-2 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (22-18) at Wahconah Park on Friday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
The Torrington Titans got the win thanks in large part to Connor Landers's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Landers allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over five innings.
Justin Finan was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
