AUSTIN, Texas, December 21, 2005 - The Austin Toros will spread holiday cheer as they host the Arkansas RimRockers Friday, December 23 at the Austin Convention Center. In celebration of the holidays the Toros will feature a themed evening enhanced with holiday decorations, carolers, a special halftime toy scramble, and a visit by "Jolly ole' Saint Nick."

"This Friday will be an exciting night at the Austin Convention Center, filled with great basketball and special holiday festivities for families and fans of all ages," Austin team president Mike Berry said. "We look forward to a great three-game home stand downtown, including games on December 28 and December 30."

The Toros Holiday Party game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center. All fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel, compliments of Austin Telco Federal Credit Union. Additionally, Toros and former Texas Tech guard Andre Emmett, along with forward Anthony Fuqua, who played at UT-San Antonio, will participate in a free on court post-game autograph session.

Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m. and parking garages are conveniently located on the corners of 5th & Red River and 2nd & Brazos Street. Tickets start as low as $9 per seat and can be purchased at austintoros.com or at the nine Pinky's Wireless locations in the Austin and Round Rock areas, as well as Waterloo Records. The NBA Development League includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.). The Toros are affiliated with the NBA's Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and the 2005 World Champion San Antonio Spurs.
