AUSTIN, TEXAS, June 14 - Join the Austin Toros on Father's Day, June 18 beginning at 7:30 p.m. for a NBA Finals watch party at Pluckers Wing Factory and Grill, located at McNeil Rd. and I-35 in Round Rock. Basketball fans are encouraged to cheer along with Toros head coach and 13-year NBA veteran Dennis Johnson as the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat compete in Game Five of the 2006 NBA Finals.
Fans are invited to visit the Toros tent on site and sign up for exciting games and prizes as well as learn about the Toros Summer Youth clinics, 2006-07 Toros season tickets and register to win a Toros prize pack. Meet Da Bull, the Toros mascot, and various members of the Capital City Dance team, who will be on-hand to tip off the celebration. Plus, arrive early to participate in pre-game autograph and photo sessions with Coach Johnson. Admission is free and open to the public.

The 2006-07 NBA Development League is comprised of the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Anaheim (Calif.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros, Bakersfield Jam (Calif.), Colorado 14ers (Broomfield), Dakota Wizards (Bismark, N.D.), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Idaho Stampede (Boise), Los Angeles, Sioux Falls Skyforce (S.D.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.)
The Toros are directly affiliated with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics.
The D-League continues to develop talent from across all disciplines for the NBA's 30 teams and the entire NBA umbrella. This season, 19 NBA teams assigned 29 players to D-League affiliates. There were also 18 GATORADE Call-Ups from the D-League to the NBA. Additionally, every referee hired by the NBA since 2002 has worked in the D-League, while coaches, athletic trainers and front office executives are also being developed.
