MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact lost 1-0 against the Toronto FC, Tuesday at Saputo Stadium, in the first game of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship, in front of 12,083 spectators.
NOTES: - Toronto FC defender Marco Velez scored the lone goal of the match in the 72nd minute. - The Impact lost one player in the 53rd minute when defender Stefano Pesoli was ejected from the game. - Impact newcomer Rocco Placentino earned two scoring chances in the first half.
