Rhinos Return Home To Face Timbers

(Rochester, NY)... After playing six of their first seven matches away from home the Rochester Rhinos will return to PAETEC Park this week where they will host seven of their next eight contests. The first of those matches begins this Sunday when they welcome the Portland Timbers to PAETEC Park. It will mark the second meeting of the season between the two squads with the first ending in a scoreless draw in Portland at PGE Park on May 14th.

The Rhinos, who lead the all-time series with a 6-1-2 record, will enter the match with a 0-4-3 mark in 2008. Rochester was able to earn a draw in Carolina last Saturday night courtesy of Mauricio Salles who netted the game-tying tally in the 89th minute. Portland on the other hand is currently 3-2-4 and tied for second in USL-1 with 13 points. The Timbers will take on the Montreal Impact at Saputo Stadium on Friday night before heading to Rochester for Sunday's contest against the Rhinos.

Portland is led by forward Chris Brown with three goals and seven points in 2008. Goalkeeper Ray Burse is among the league leaders with five shutouts and a 0.66 goals against average in his nine starts.
