Worcester Tornadoes News Release
Worcester, MA (May 5, 2005) â The Worcester Tornadoes are putting together their team â but we're not only looking for ballplayers. With the season just around the corner, the Tornadoes are beginning the process of hiring ticket sellers, ushers, merchandise sellers, and the scores of other employees that will help make a Tornadoes game a memorable event for fans of all ages.
The hiring process will begin with an open job fair this Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, at the South Worcester Neighborhood Center. The job fair will take place on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and then all day on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The South Worcester Neighborhood Center is located at 47 Camp Street.
The job fair will allow anyone who wants to work with the Tornadoes the opportunity to see some of the available jobs and their descriptions, as well as fill out an application. Tornadoes staff will be on hand to conduct interviews, so potential employees are encouraged to dress appropriately. The team will be hiring staff at the conclusion of the job fair, so if you want to get swept away with the Tornadoes, this is your chance!
There is no minimum age to work for the Tornadoes, other than those specified by law. The Tornadoes also provide an enjoyable and open atmosphere to work for the summer and remind applicants that the team is an equal opportunity employer.
If you're interested in working in a fun and exciting environment where thousands of enthusiastic and supportive fans will flock every game, then the Tornadoes would love to hear from you. If you have any questions, you may contact the Tornadoes at (508) 792-2288 or by writing to info@worcestertornadoes.com. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
